When you first set up your AbanteCart store, you will notice placeholder text (“Powered by AbanteCart”) as well as a Contribute button in the storefront footer.
If you wish to remove this text, or replace it with text of your own choosing, you can either purchase the Whitelabel AbanteCart extension from the Extensions Marketplace, which supports the application’s developers, or manually edit the page template at no cost.
Purchase and install the Whitelabel AbanteCart extension
To purchase the extension, visit Extensions > Get Extensions in the AbanteCart dashboard and search for ‘whitelabel’. For more on installing AbanteCart extensions, check out the following HostPapa knowledge base article: How to install an AbanteCart extension
Manually edit the footer template
To edit the AbanteCart footer template manually, you’ll need to access the footer.tpl file using an FTP client or the cPanel File Manager. The file is located in your AbanteCart folder at storefront/view/your-theme-name/template/common.
If you are using cPanel File Manager, click the Edit button to open the file. Alternatively, you can download the file to your local computer and open it in a text editor. Look for the line that starts:

Delete this line and all the text below up to and including the line:
</section>
Save the file and (if necessary) upload the updated version to your server. Reload your AbanteCart storefront and check the updated footer.

Note that these manual changes may be overwritten when you update your AbanteCart theme and may need to be repeated.
