Importing your Google calendar into Outlook 2016 allows you to conveniently view all of your meetings and scheduled appointments within a single application.
The first step is to export your Google calendar to a file that you can subsequently import into Outlook 2016. Open a web browser and sign into your Google calendar at https://calendar.google.com. Click the gear icon at the top of the screen and select Settings.
Now click Import & Export in the sidebar menu.
In the main pane, locate the Export panel and, with your calendars selected, click Export to download your schedule data.
Your data will be exported as a zipped .ics file. Extract the archive file and you’ll see an individual .ics file for each of your Google calendars.
In Outlook, click File > Open & Export, and then choose Import/Export.
The Import and Export Wizard box opens. From the list of options, select Import an iCalendar (.ics) or vCalendar file (.vcs), then click Next.
Locate the calendar file you wish to import and select OK.
