Embedding presentations/slideshows/files:
You can embed your Powerpoint, PDF or other files onto your site with Google Docs:
- Create or upload your presentation to Google Docs.
- Click on Publish on the Google Doc.
- A new dialog box will open, change the settings to suit your requirements.
- Copy the code provided.
- Go back to your HostPapa Website Builder site.
- In your website builder, drag-and-drop the HTML Code Widget onto the page. You will find it in Widgets > Popular.
- The HTML editor will open up.
- Paste the code into the space provided (use right-click > paste or ctrl-V to paste).
- Click Save.
Embedding spreadsheets:
You can add spreadsheets with Google Docs:
- Create or upload your spreadsheet to Google Docs.
- Publish the spreadsheet in Google Docs. You should then get a toolbar opening on the right-hand side.
- Click on More publishing options.
- A dialog box will open – change the File Format to HTML to embed in webpage.
- Choose the rest of the options you want and then Generate URL.
- Copy the code provided.
- Go back to your HostPapa Website Builder site.
- Drag and drop the HTML Code Widget onto the page and paste the code into the HTML editor.
- Click Save.
